Experienced and competent in range of EPs, (VEP, BAER, VEMP, DSEP, upper and lower limb SSEP and Trigeminal SSEP), NCS and performing, and providing technical reports of,  routine, sleep deprived and ambulatory EEGs.

We currently have leading market share in Australia of NCS/EMG/EP machines with Medelec Synergy, Nicolet Viking and Nicolet EEG. We are seeking an experienced Neurotech to assist the sales team, to provide clinical support and training for both the existing and new customer database. Experience with Synergy, Viking and NicOne EEG is preferred but not essential and further training will be provided. Willingness to learn is a must and an interest in research is an advantage. This role requires some travel both locally and overseas on occasion.

Location: Central Coast Health - Gosford and Wyong

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time (32 hours per week)
Salary: $34.44 to $35.56 per hour

The position of Manager of Neurophysiology exists within the Division of Medicine, Central Coast Health Service and covers the sites of Wyong and Gosford Hospitals. The position is in the Neurophysiology department and provides EEG, MSLT and EMG/NCV studies for inpatients and outpatients within the Central Coast area.
Qualifications & Skills
·       Recognised qualifications in Neurophysiology (Dipl.Neurophysiology or equivalent)
·       Extensive and varied clinical experience
·       Extensive experience in the management of neurophysiological instrumentation
·       Experience in staff and/or service supervision
·       Experience in student supervision
·       Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Quality Management, OH&S and EEO.
·       Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
·       Current NSW drivers license or equivalent
Challenges:
* Preserve integrity and confidentiality of data and equipment across multiple sites.
* Adequate inter-area and interdepartmental communication to ensure smooth running of service
* Overcoming difficulties in off site status of reporting specialists (urgent access to specialists and protection of data in transfer)
* Service continuity within environment of limited resources.
